Awhile back, I mentioned that I was keeping a Wordpress blog on my website. Well, umm, not anymore. It was fun for awhile, and I was even part of a small local blogging community. But, even with keeping a backlog of posts, I got burned out after about 8 months of it. Between keeping busy with other projects, depression I was dealing with at the time (I stopped posting a few months after losing my last real job), and just generally feeling irrelevant, I gave up on it. And, nearly a year later, I'm in the process of taking it down.
One of the purposes it actually served was to provide a feed for website updates, a purpose rendered irrelevant by Twitter (and the fact that I don't update my website often, something I plan to fix whenever I can actually work on it). So, when I post new photos, I'll put them here now. Since my new computer can properly handle Lightroom as a casually-run application, I was able to process a ton of photos I'd been sitting on, and blew through several hundred photos in one weekend.
With that intro out of the way, here are a few pictures I talked about before but hadn't posted yet. First off, my new horse paintings from
akirashima:

I don't have photos of them hanging yet, because the wall they're hanging on has my mini-fridge, and the top of it is a mess right now. I need to clean it off before I take pictures of it :-P
Next is my new computer, and there are more images of it than I can reasonably put in this entry. But, I'll add a few. If you want to see the rest, click here.

And, lastly, I give you this. Many of you have already seen it, but just in case...

It's real. It's presumably unintentional. It's a lollipop dish for children at a local restaurant (you can see the candy inside, sorta, I had to use my phone for this).
